If you are looking to stand apart from the rest. A frame from MasahiroMaruyama is a good place to start. These frames are hand finished in Fukui Prefecture which is part of Japan’s Honshu island bordering the Sea of Japan. A factory that is 50 years old with experienced craftsman using traditional techniques were able to bring Masahiro’s concepts to life with quality that cannot be imitated by just anyone.

There are multiple concepts in his collection with different inspirations. One that we carry is called Straight. Essentially, the round shape is hand drawn using straight lines which then becomes a curved line. By doing this he can eliminate some excess material and create a minimal design. There is a lot of inspiration drawn from a Japanese flower arrangement called Ikebana. The idea is that things are natural and in a beautiful incomplete form.

From the hand-drawn designs that Masahiro is able to bring to life, we are excited to present this exclusive collection to you. Only available in 5 stores across Canada it would be unlikely to run into someone with your same frame.
